Born in sunny Southern California, Pam Williams’ work has received numerous accolades over the years.

Pam received her BA from the University of Rhode Island. She went on to do coursework at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, Wesleyan, and Hartford Art School.

Pam left the crazy ad agency world in 1990 and co-founded Williams and House at the age of 29. There she would have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from some of the country’s leading design thinkers and designers - for nearly 30 years.

Though not a designer herself, Pam helped shaped many distinctive brands through many multi-faceted branding, marketing and communication programs. Among her clients: Adobe, School of Visual Arts, Academy of Art University, Mohawk Paper, Moo, and Strathmore Paper. To name a few. Graphic Design: USA named Pam to its “People to Watch” list.

Pam is a founding member of AIGA Connecticut, the professional association for design. She served on the AIGA National board for three years.

In 2012, Pam was awarded the AIGA Fellow Award, one of the most distinguished honors in the profession. Chosen by her peers, the AIGA Fellow award is given to individuals in recognition of exceptional achievement, service or contribution to the field of design and visual communication. Pam was the first female to receive this honor. Click here for a short video. She may be best known for the personal touch she brings to her work.

After Williams and House closed its doors Pam took a creative sabbatical, picked up a color wheel, and started painting. Pam now lives on Cape Cod with her sweetheart and their dog. There she works, makes art, volunteers, and collaborates with other emerging creative artists.
